In early September of this year, 2007,  I attended  a very exciting training in CT, called, "HealthRHYTHMS," which is a researched based REMO program designed to encourage  the facilitation of "recreational music making" (which includes drumming!) in
healthcare and wellness-based programs. 

This benefits of this protocol for staff and patients in therapeutic environments include, stress reduction, mood improvement, and a boost to the immune system.   As well, employee retention increased and staff burnout decreased. 

It is my intention to offer these programs to local  and area hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing schools, as well as to the cancer facilities and groups that I have been recently working with.  This program is also designed as a wellness program, will the intetntion to prevent burnout,
reduce stress, and increase immune function.  This program would be appropriate for the corporate environment as well.
