Bateria-style Escola de Samba Workshop
with Instructor, Alyx Lyons
of Sambatucada!, Burlington, VT

to be held at the beautiful Sanctuary Center, Raymond, NH
11am-4pm
Alyx will teach the high energy rhythms found in an Escola de Samba (samba school)
The workshop will be based on traditional foundation of Carnaval of Rio.
This workshop will be guaranteed to be:

*High energy!
*Joyous and irresistible!
*Inclusive of all skill levels

$65 per person, some scholarships available.

DRUM CIRCLE FACILITATOR'S CONFERENCE IN S. CAROLINA
 In February 2007, I attended the "Drum Circle Facilitator's Conference" in S. Carolina.  
It was a great experience to meet up with DCFC's from across the globe
who are as nutty about drum and community drum facilitation as me! 
  The 2009 Conference was held in March in Prescott, Arizona.

I had a great time offfering a workshop on songs, rhythms, and dances of the Mother Drum - Picture Below
