The drums that you see listed below in the Photo Albums are from my recent shipment from the Ivory Coast of West Africa. (June 2008)  PICTURES TO BE POSTED SOON!  PLEASE CHECK BACK.


These are high quality hand-carved djembes made of wood from the Ivory Coast & Mali (Iroko, Faliba from Ivory Coast,  Linge from Mali).  They djembes have goatskin drumheads as well as are tuned with high quality rope. The Bougaraboos have cow skin tops.
The vertical ropes are tightened before shipping, and some diamond pulling may be required for tuning. 
I usually tune most drums before shipping by adding the horizontal Mali weave.
 
The caption under each djembe drum describes the color of the ring cloth, as well as the type of wood the shell is made from, the drum dimensions (head width and shell height), and if the drum is L, light, M, medium in weight, or H, heavy.  I can also weigh the drums for you if you need an exact weight.
As for shipping costs, each drum will be individual depending on weight and where it is going.
