MANCHESTER CHRISTMAS PARADE REVIEW

So.....we did it! Many thanks to Vita, D, Patricia, Harley for being such TROOPERS!
After much deliberation about how to decorate the float,
what to wear to stay warm, and which day to actually have the parade,
on Sunday, Dec. 2nd we pulled it off!
That is, we went marching and drumming, and half the time racing to keep up with the float in front of us,
or our own support vehicle!
And who ever could guess how long Elm St. really is to walk & drum down???
Never mind trying to sing, walk, and drum!
Too funny! We handed out 100 blue and green REMO egg shakers to the children who lined the streets.
We ran out of eggs very quickly, and could have probably used about 1,000 of them! Maybe next year, we'll have a fundraiser in advanced to get more eggs! Thank you to REMO Company who graciously donated 50 eggs.
And thank you to Harley, who kept the eggs a'comin! And to Vita who was our gracious chauffeur, and to
Patricia who made the awesome "DRUM FOR PEACE" banner,
and to D who smiled the whole way, and kept me in good form!
Okay drummers, next year we want a bigger float, and more of you to join us!
